A study conducted on 1000000 women over the age of 50,  this research started on 1994 and it shows that subjects who have a positive outlook of life are30 percentage less likely to die due to old age diseases like heart disease and cancer than the subject who are negative in their approach towards life. It also proved that the women with cynical and hostile  characteristics are more likely to die due to heart disease.</p>
<p>Positive though might have reduced the stress hormones inside our body but researchers say it is very early to tell the core link between health and positive thoughts, positive thoughts might have reduced the effect of stress hormones or positive thought might have made them to follow a positive healthy lifestyle.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Participating  and enjoying competitive games will make our minds healthy especially those who work hard or a retired person, it will be good and refreshing for our minds to engage in some competitive sports after a days work.. you may be a business man a corporate of a technical person or a driver, you should spend some time for competitive games, it can be ping pong, badminton, soccer, basket ball, snooker or caroms it can definitely wash away the stress stains from your mind.</p>
<p>Participating in competitive games will awake the minds of  senior citizens. I can give you my dads example. My dad is above 50 and he is a sports man for a long 10 years he stayed away from sports and recently we installed a ping pong table in our house and I can see the changes in his mind and attitude after playing ping pong one of the main thins i noticed that he was having a lack of brain body coordination and I can see improvement in that aspect. No he is very confident and happy and I am happy for him. So I want all those senior guys to get engaged in competitive games let it be caroms, chess or a ping pong go for it as early as possible.</p>
<p>The physical aspect of participating in competitive game will be discussed in my future blogs.</p>

Laughter also triggers the release of endorphins, the body&#8217;s natural painkillers, and produces a general sense of well-being.<br />
There are many ways to trigger laughter seeing a funny movie or a tv commedy show will do ( beaing the craziest fan of Mr Bean I keep myslef happy by watching his shows ), according to me it will be good to start your day watching a commedy show  because laughter got the magic to transmitt positive enegry it you and will make your  day beautifull. Beaing in the company of funny friends can also make you healthy. There are lot of socities around the world that promotes laughter tearaphy and laughter yoga.</p>

<p>There are different styles of meditation, first of all we have to find a place for meditation ( a calm and quiet room in your house will do ) one should feel comfortable about the place., sit on a chair or floor, sit such a way that you wont fell asleep.</p>
<p><strong>Breath Centric meditation</strong></p>
<p>Ignore everything that comes to your mind, don&#8217;t force your mind to ignore,. if thoughts comes to your mind just ignore it in a much relaxed way and take a deep breath and feel it go inside your lungs and exhale, feel the air going out, then inhale and feel exhale and feel, concentrate only on your breath nothing else just you and your breath.. after some paint you will feel your breath getting lighter and you will feel serene and lighter and after some point you will feel that you are one among the universe.</p>
<p><strong>Heart Centric Meditation</strong></p>
<p>The only difference of Heart centric meditation is instead of concentrating on breath they concentrate of heat beat.</p>

<p>One should relax and concentrate on objects like small dot or a flower, Lighting a candle in a dark room and concentrate on the flame is a very popular technique among those who practise Object centric meditation.</p>
