Pomegranate health benefits

Pomegranates have numerous health benefits. A glass of pomegranate juice contains vitamin A, C and E, folic acid.  Pomegranate juice contains the antioxidant Punicalagin which  is known to protect cardiovascular function, as well as precise cellular duplication. Pomegranate juice also contains polyphenolic compounds, tannins, and anthocyanins. Ellagic and Gallic acid can also be found in pomegranate juice.

Studies have reveled Pomegranates are anti cancerous properties, it contains polyphenols which are good in preventing cancers such as prostrate cancer and breast cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer, etc…One study showed  pomegranate juice while consumed during pregnancy, protected neonatal brains against damage as a result of an injury.

Pomegranates are good for heart related diseases it can prevent cardiovascular disceaces like strockes and heart attacks, it also have the ability to raise the levels of good cholesterols which are essential for cell buding and normal cell function

Other benefits of pomegranate include the decrease of Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL). Pomegranate juice is also beneficial in regulating platelet motion. Normal vascular contraction can be maintained with Pomegranate juice. The motion of antiotension converting enzyme (ACE) is reduced as another benefit of pomegranate juice. Pomegranate juice can also promote dental health as well. Pomegranate juice prevents the build up of the plaque on the teeth.
