Health benifits of Sunflower Oil
Sunflower oils is made out of the seeds of sunflower and it is the most widely used oil all over the world, it is one of the favourite cooking oll most of the restaurants due to its health benefits and the ability of sunflower use in hight temperature cooking without losing its nutrients. Sun flower oil is lite in taste and it is very high in vitamin E. It is a combination of mono-unsaturated and polyunsaturated fats with low saturated fat levels.
There are two types of sunflower oil available linoleic oil which is sunflower oil in its original form and high oleic sunflower oil which is hight in oleic acid which makes the mono-saturated levels of 80 percentage and above compared to high oleic sunflower oil linoleic oil contains 65 percentage polyunsaturated fats which include Omega -6 fatty acid which is essential for our body, but due to high amount of polyunsaturated fats linoleic oil can easily get oxidised while frying. Oleic sunflower oils high mono-saturated levels makes it good for for caridio vascular system, it have the ability to lower LDL ( low-density lipoprotein – bad cholesterol) and the high content of vitamin E which is an antioxidant is good in protecting our organs including heart.
Due to the precence of vitamin E sunflower oil can also be used as massage oils , it can help to retain the lost moisture of skin and have the ability to make skin tighter, sunflower oil can also be used to protect the skin of infats form infections.
